3MVHB™ tape is a polyacrylate double-sided foam tape produced by 3M using a unique solvo-free manufacturing technology. The core and surface of the foam adhesive are all made of polyacrylate viscoelastic body, rather than coated on both sides of the foam core material. This is the biggest difference between VHB™ tape products and common foam tape, which can be visually called "solid glue". This special structure gives the tape special overall viscoelasticity, the whole tape can effectively dissipate the stress inside the adhesive joint through the mechanical relaxation of the tape, so as to effectively protect the adhesive connection.
